Open Road Seasonal Services offers a comprehensive lawn care program to make your spring and summer lawn beautiful!  

This program consists of 5 visits. At any visit, insect and/or grub control can be applied if requested. 

Throughout the entire season, if you have any concerns regarding your weed control, we offer free service calls, and free spot treatment that is needed to help remedy your concerns.  Please allow 48-72 hours for this service to be completed. 

Pre Application information is available in writing upon request. This information may include the name of products used, a copy of the label if requested, the date on which we will apply the product, and our contact information. 

Post Application information will be provided at the conclusion of each visit in written form. 

• The first application is applied in early Spring  (March-early April). This will consist of both a complete fertilizer as well as a pre-emergent pesticide to effectively control lawn weeds such as crabgrass.

• The second application is applied in late Spring (April-May). This will consist of both a complete fertilizer as well as pesticide to control broadleaf weeds, such as dandelions. 

• The third application is applied in Summer (June-July). This will consist of primarily fertilization, however spot application for broadleaf weeds will be applied if needed. 

• The fourth application is applied in early fall (late August-September). This will consist of a complete fertilizer as well as pesticide to control broadleaf weeds. 

• The fifth application is applied in Fall (October-November). This will consist of a complete fertilizer that will protect and grow grass roots in the winter months and ensure a healthy, early, green spring lawn.

• Spring clean up of yard and flower beds
• Fertilization and application of pre-emergent weed control to flower beds
• Mulching and landscape rock for flower beds
• Spring application of grass seeding and/or sod
• Design and planting of bushes and flower beds.

• Edging upon request
• Trimming of all necessary areas 
• Blowoff and clean up of debris from paved areas and decks/patios. 

• Preventative systemtic insecticide for insect and grub control. Timing of this application is essential! Apply between June 15th-August 1st to achieve the best results.

This process involves mechanically removing small plugs of grass and soil from your lawn to improve soil aeration.

Aeration is most effective in the fall months. 

Aeration is often combined with overseeding for a fresh, beautiful yard in the spring.
